Alabama Rapper NoCap Arrested for Allegedly Shooting Into Occupied House

Alabama rapper NoCap has turned himself in to authorities on charges stemming from the alleged shooting of an occupied dwelling. He is facing charges of discharging a gun into an occupied or unoccupied building/vehicle, probation violation, possession of/receiving a controlled substance, and reckless endangerment, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office’s website.

According to an Alabama court filing, obtained by Pitchfork, police responded to a report of “disorderly conduct and discharging a firearm within city limits” on September 8. Witnesses told police that NoCap fired a gun into a home two times, “striking the couch,” the report states. One witness said “he heard [four to five] shots ring out,” according to the document. In addition the filing states, “There were two holes in the front of the residence that made entry to the dwelling and then entered into a leather couch which finally got trapped inside a pillow.”
